Liverpool Collection
Damien was originally encouraged to create a portfolio of artwork of Liverpool by his father, Jack Waterhouse, who studied architecture at the University of Liverpool. The views include iconic buildings such as the Walker Art Gallery, St Luke’s Church, the Philharmonic pub and St George’s Hall and Plateau, and a series of scenes based around Albert Dock. Damien had two sell-out solo exhibitions of the originals at Liverpool Artists’ Club in the early 1990s. Reproductions of the collection then featured on prints produced by Basilica Art to commemorate Liverpool European Capital of Culture 2008. High quality prints are available.
